Massage Therapy Training Updates

House Bill 5001 has been signed into law requiring at least 625 hours of classroom instruction prior to receiving a massage therapy license. This will go into effect on August 1, 2017, meaning that those enrolled in school prior to August 1, 2017, still have the opportunity to gain their massage therapy license with the 500-hour minimum. If you have completed your 500-hour training program, join us for an upcoming Licensing Exam Prep Workshop. During this 2 hour course, participants will review the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully complete the MBLEx (Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination). This workshop also includes a review booklet that you can take home with you as you continue to prepare for the exam. You DO NOT have to be an IME/KCHA graduate to attend this course. This opportunity is open to all seeking a massage therapy license.
